Project childhood in Cambodia: the Resource Center in turmoil
End of 2016, our partner Krousar Yoeung Cambodian teams Mobilized to complete the orders for Games.
Since the launch of phase 2 of the project "Childhood" in Cambodia, supported by AFD, the sale of educational material, designed and produced by the Resource Centre of PE&D has generated over $ 3,500 of income, reinvested in training and the design of new games.
The Resource Center also revised entirely its process of production material and educational games to streamline costs, including the use of providers and external workers. Moreover, he enrolled in a strong social approach, using deaf-mutes workers for the production of the material.
Within the Cambodian nursery schools, education remains very formal and few children have access to quality equipment. But the research is unanimous: it is by independently handling teaching materials and by free game that children learn most effectively. The broadcasting of our productions is a very important issue for the quality of pre-school education.
