Kanchha (name has been changed), 35, lives in the village of Phidigaun with 5 other family members. Very eager to learn to read and write

She followed with enthusiasm the courses for adults organized by Planète Enfants. Unfortunately, her husband doesn’t appreciate the fact  that she goes to school at night and will even beat severely to prevent her from attending classes. She takes refuge at one of the members of the Protection Committee.
It is decided by the Committee of Protection and psychologist program  to take care of Kanchha. The psychologist meets several times the husband who recognizes his faults. The couple renovates an attempt to live together, but shortly after, the husband begins to threaten his wife. The welfare committee decides to intervene again, explaining to the husband that his wife has rights and threatening to refer the case to court if he continues to use violence against his wife.
