Cette année encore, Planète Enfants tiendra un stand lors de l'évènement Dix sur Dix : une occasion unique de faire connaître aux parisiens l'association et sa lutte contre la traite!

Organisé pour la deuxième année consécutive par la Mairie du 10ème arrondissement de Paris, cet évènement rassemble plus de 120 associations dans le domaine des arts, de la culture, de la solidarité, du sport, de l'environnement et de la vie locale.

Vous avez quelques heures à nous accorder le samedi 18 ou le dimanche 19 septembre pour tenir le stand à nos côtés et sensibiliser les visiteurs à notre cause? To extend its action on French territory, PE calls upon its sponsors, supporters and friends. The creation of the Departmental Delegations PE (DDPE) is an opportunity for the association to further disseminate its message on the fight against trafficking and to create a local link with all those who support it.

The DDPE, a structure of three volunteers minimum, have the mission to make people aware of  the association and its activities and raise funds for its projects. Moreover, the DDPE form a bridge between the sponsors and the head office of PE on the one hand, and sponsors on the other. The idea is to meet people who share common values, share and reflect on the possible actions of each. As their name suggests, the delegations are the true spokespersons of relays and PE on the ground: based on sharing and trust, they can be for those who run them, the best place for their commitment and the means to conduct a meaningful activity ...

In Nepal (where we invest more than 80% of our budget) we currently have no fewer than seven and impacting sustainable programs to protect children against trafficking and exploitation.

The objectives of each, the results obtained, the beneficiaries, this is precisely related in our 2009 annual report that you can download from our website or we order in paper format. Also, we have chosen to speak in this issue of what  (pre) occupies us besides the field activities that we are taking : project management while ensuring continuity of operations, participate in advocacy for the Nepalese government to act more for protecting their children, cope with the explosion of prostitution in Kathmandu and, of course, provide professional  and human care of casualties as Carisse explains, acting as a psychologist in our rehabilitation centres ...

But we also invest a lot of time for projects in France: it seems to us that we need to inform and gather even more here, through Education on Development for young people or the creation of a national network through the Departmental Delegations. To have more money of course but also to awaken the conscience of each responsibility for his actions and to act as close to our  home.

These two approaches, Solidarity and Humanitarian Action in Nepal and awareness in France seem more complementary than ever to lead our fight ...
